MRCS Part A Examination Preparation Course
2-5 September 2016

Dear House Officers, MOs, Registrars and Specialists
Let me take this opportunity to announce that MRCS Part A preparation course will be launched for the first time at Melaka Manipal Medical College from 2-5 September 2016. The course is a four-day intensive training organized by Department for Postgraduate Studies/Professional Studies, Department of Surgery, Melaka Manipal Medical College (MANIPAL UNIVERSITY). The Intercollegiate MRCS Part A examination is the first step for the award this postgraduate diploma.
The prep course is especially intended for House Officers, MO, Registrars and Specialists who are interested to become a member of one of the four surgical Royal Colleges in the UK and Ireland.
The prep course will cover the topics in applied basic sciences and principles of surgery in general, ICU & Critical Care, Trauma & emergency Surgery.
The course instructors are well experienced in both clinical as well as teaching medical students. They have had prior clinical and teaching experience in USA and UK. They are currently teaching over years in India. The Surgical instructors team are from Osler’s Academy, Hyderabad, India.
So, my advice to you is to begin your post-graduate training as early as possible in your life during housemanship as the MRCS is a parallel pathway to a Surgical degree especially when your memory on basic medical knowledge and skills are still fresh. Before you attempt to sit for this exam you should prepare yourself by attending this Prep Course.
Don’t miss this opportunity!

The distinguished instructors are:
  1. Dr Sanjog Mathur MD,FRCS (Edin), FAAOS (Johns Hopkins, USA)

  5. If you can learn the essential, totally rationally consistent metaphysical structure of the separation, it provides you with a framework in which the whole thing just fits into place. A Course in Miracles by David HHoffmeister is teaching this metaphysical structure, but it is not always very obvious. Its obscure nature tends to lead people to not even realize there is a solid "core" to the Course or that you can use this structure to perfectly explain everything the ego does, the meaning of death, and what must be true based on it.
For example, separation from God is not possible, because you cannot be somewhere that God is absent. God is everywhere. This immediately tells us that, logically, to believe that this is possible is insanity. It also must tell us that to believe in such a separation is to believe in a dream, a fiction, something which is false or not true and not real. This is already the beginning of some very solid metaphysics, and many people grasp this basic starting point.ACIM Spiritual Community
