Osler’s Academy – MRCP Part 1 & Part 2 Faculty Profiles

1. Dr. Mahender Vyasabattu MD (USA), FRCP (London)
Founder and Director of Osler’s Academy. Dr.Vyasabattu pursued six years of postgraduate training and experience in UK. He worked at William Harvey Hospital, Ashford Kent, Conquest Hospitals, Hastings, East Sussex. He worked as a Clinical Research Fellow in Cardiology at William Harvey Hospital. Subsequently he moved to US and did his residency and chief residency from St Luke’s Hospital, Chesterfield, MO.
He was a Faculty at Baton Rouge General Hospital, Louisiana where he was teaching residents on service and medical students from University of Tulane, Louisiana. He was an avid teacher and was regularly training junior staff for MRCP examinations when he was in the UK. Since moving to India, he has been running PACES courses along with PACES4U.com of Manchester UK.

2. Dr. Santosh Enaganti MD, FRCP (UK), CCST (UK)
MRCP (U.K.), Royal College of Physicians of London, London, July 2000.CCT (Gastroenterology General Medicine), PMETB-London, March 2008.He pursued gastroenterology Specialist Registrar training at Bedford General, Leicester General Hospitals and Hull Royal Infirmary. Subsequently did a Transplant Hepatology fellowship at St James' University hospital, Leeds. His additional interest includes infectious diseases.He is a Senior Consultant Medical Gastroenterologist with 13 years of experience in the field of Gastroenterology and Hepatology. 

3. Dr. Kavitha Gone MRCP (UK), CCST (UK)
MRCP (UK) CCT (Nephrology & General Medicine), PMETB, London. During her 15 years in UK, Dr Kavitha Completed her MRCP and pursued her specialist training in Nephrology including Transplant Nephrology at the world famous St James' University Hospital, Leeds and in York and Hull. She worked as a Nephrologist in Leeds, UK. Dr Gone has extensive experience of teaching candidates preparing for PACES exam, both in UK and now in India.

4. Dr. Sharat Putta CCT (Gastroenterology & GIM) MRCP (UK) MD (NIMS)
Worked as a Consultant in the UK for over 8 years (2004-12) at various reputed hospitals. He was awarded 6 Clinical Excellence Awards in UK and USA. He completed super specialty training in gastroenterology and hepatology in the United Kingdom. During and after completion of specialist training in gastroenterology he pursued transplant hepatology and hepatobiliary endoscopy (Endoscopic ultrasound and ERCP) at the University hospital Birmingham, United Kingdom. He pursued speciality training for a cumulative period of nearly 3 years in transplant hepatology and hepatobiliary endoscopy, in addition to 5 years of gastroenterology training. He has an extensive teaching experience with MRCP PACES courses.

5. PROFESSOR SRINIVAS MANTHA MD (Anaesthesiology) FAVS (USA)
Fellowship in Anaesthesia for Vascular Surgery at University of Chicago, USA (1993). Worked as Professor (Anaesthesiology) in NIMS for more than 25 years. Associated with Michael F. Roizen of Cleveland Clinic Foundation, Cleveland, Ohio, “Real Age” fame, for more than 2 decades in research and academic areas. Published several scientific publications in peer reviewed international journals with good impact factor. His special area of interest and expertise is Biostatistics. He is an expert in developing software programmes and products that have extensive application in Medical Education, Computer Based Testing and Hospital Management System. He contributed a chapter as first author - “Anaesthesia for Vascular Surgery. In: Clinical Anaesthesia, 6th Edit (2009): Editor: Barash PG et al, Published by JB Lippincott Company”. This is the standard international text book in anaesthesia. Contributed a chapter as co-author in Perioperative anaesthetic considerations in noncardiac surgery for those at high risk of cardiovascular disease. In: Text Book of Cardiovascular Medicine, 3rd edition (2007): Editor: Eric Topol et al, Published by Lippincott Williams and Wilkins. 

6. Dr. Sridhar Devu, D.M.R.D, DNB, M.MED, FRCR 
After completing his Radiology training in India Dr.Devu pursued his M.MED at NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF SINGAPORE. He did his FRCR from ROYAL COLLEGE OF RADIOLOGISTS, LONDON, UK. His additional interests include Musculoskeletal imaging and Interventional Radiology. Dr.Sridhar regularly teaches radiology residents and others preparing for FRCR and MRCP examinations.

7. Dr. Ravi Kiran Bobba MD Hematology & Oncology, Internal Medicine Columbia, MO
Dr.Ravi is MD in Internal Medicine from Carilion Health System,USA.He did his fellowship in Hematology and Oncology from University of Missouri-Columbia, USA.He has been in practice for 19 years. He is an excellent teacher.

8. Dr. Gopi Shrikant
Dr.Gopi Shrikant is doctorate in Neurology. He is an avid teacher in Neurology. He is also MD in Internal Medicine. He has more than a decade of experience in Neurology.
